At the heart of our online festival weekend, we are delighted to present The Goldberg Variations Reimagined.
The Festival’s Artistic Director, Rachel Podger, has commissioned harpsichordist Chad Kelly to create an ambitious re-imagining of Bach’s Goldberg Variations for nine instruments. Our online festival programme will open on October 23rd, and will première our live film of the new arrangement, led by Rachel and Chad, with supporting documentary and interactive material.
