Learn 16thC dances from England, Italy and France: from fast to slow, simple to complex. Taught by experienced Historical Dance Society tutor. Recorded music used (historically informed performance); some dances repeated with live music on period instruments, same venue, afternoon of Sat 11 and Sun 12 Jan. No costume or partner needed. Light flexible footwear advised, and warm clothes.
Feel free to stay on and explore the property, or enjoy listening to 'A country Christmas', 1300-1445h, songs and readings from the Dorset of Hardy and Barnes. No extra charge. NB, lunch not provided.
Class fee includes free entry to entire property even if you're not NT members.
